Bank of America acquired MBNA’s credit card accounts in 2006. MBNA credit cards are available in Canada, including travel rewards cards. The roster of available travel reward cards from MBNA Canada is extensive:

• Virgin Atlantic Black American Express Card:  This card is similar to the Virgin Atlantic White American Express Card. The Black card is designed for applicants with less than perfect credit and features a variable interest rate of up to 37 percent. There is also an annual fee with this card.
